Drug reactions
There are three types of drug reactions:
- Allergy: often to antibiotics (penicillin)
- Intolerance: non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (aspirin, painkillers)
- Side effects
Treatment of drug reactions
Once the diagnosis has been confirmed, the drug must not be taken again.
Substitute drugs must be identified
